Weight Loss is an Adjustment

It used to be, I could play with Bill for 5, maybe 10 minutes and then he’d get tired, flop over, and take a nap.

Now that he’s eating a normal portion of food and isn’t quite the chub he used to be, play time is like 20 or 30 minutes. And I don’t just dangle the ribbon in front of his face so he can half-heartedly bat it around and chew on the ends. Oh no. Now I have to SWING his toy in the air so he can LEAP after it. Then we play dangle and chew. Then he gets his second wind and it’s another round of swing and leap.

I need a self swinging toy or something. Mommy’s tired, buddy. Here, play with this robot for a while.
